After having not so great experiences with attorneys that took money and provided no assistance. Also didn't provide much hope that I had much of a chance as a non biological parent to get child back. We were also told it would take a very long time to get done, could cost a ridiculously high fee to take case, because court calendars were backed up, it could take up to a year to get on calendar!
